Taiwanese pianist, Shu-Chuan Cheng received a Bachelor's degree on full scholarship from National Taiwan Normal University, a Master's degree and a Doctorate in piano performance with Graduate Award from Eastman School of Music. She has taught piano, piano literature, and coached ensembles at Tainan National University of the Arts and Taipei National University of the Arts. Currently a full-time faculty member of the keyboard studies in Music Department at Tainan University of Technology, Dr. Cheng teaches piano lessons, piano literature, and chamber music.
As a soloist and collaborative pianist, Dr. Cheng has performed in Taiwan, United States, Germany, and Japan. She frequently gives masterclasses, adjudicates competitions and examines for music schools in Taiwan.
